# Dental check-ups, cleaning and fillings in Butwal

**Short answer:** A routine visit at Kashyap Dental & Aesthetics includes an examination of your teeth and gums, professional cleaning (scaling and polishing) when needed, and fillings for any decay we find. Most adults should come every 6 months. Small problems found early cost far less than the root canals and extractions they turn into when left untreated.

**Price:** Scaling and polishing costs NPR 2,000–4,000. Tooth-coloured fillings cost NPR 1,500–2,500 for back teeth and NPR 2,000–4,000 for front teeth. All treatment is done by Dr. Rekha Pandey (BDS).

## Frequently asked questions

### Do bleeding gums when I brush mean something is wrong?

Bleeding gums are usually a sign of gum inflammation (gingivitis), often caused by plaque build-up. It is common and usually reversible with professional cleaning and better daily brushing, but it should be checked.

### Does scaling damage teeth?

No. Scaling removes hardened plaque (tartar) from the tooth surface. Teeth can feel slightly sensitive for a few days afterwards.

### What should I bring to my first visit?
